An April Minnesota Spring

Did someone say spring had arrived?

Although the driveway and streets were clear earlier this week, another snowstorm blasted through our area with ice snow. Ever heard of ice snow? Well, I made up the word.  (laughing)

I call it ice snow because when you shovel it there are crystals of ice in the snow itself. It’s not pretty, especially when you try to shovel it. The snow is very heavy and gives you what is called “shovel shoulders” which is basically sore shoulders.

Although I do not particularly like the summers in Minnesota, spring always brings wildlife that I enjoy photographing.
